Louis XIII style stone fireplace with trumeau : Baux de Provence

This elegant fireplace "Baux de Provence" is a reissue in natural stone inspired by the Louis XIII style.
This fireplace with trumeau, an original creation by Les Ateliers Alain Bidal, is a crafted realisation made from natural limestones quarried in France.

Here, it is presented carved in the stone of Provence "Estaillades" beautifully aged and patined by hand to give it a more rustic look.

The style of the fireplaces under the reign of Louis the 13th is recognisable especially by the carved mouldings which is found both on the jambs of the mantel and along the lintel, highlighting the hearth. The originality of this model "Baux de Provence" comes from its imposing lintel showing a curvy shape. The trumeau is simpler and topped by a thin moulded cornice.

→ The height of the trumeau can be reduced to suit your interior. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
