Imposing rectangular pillars carved in French limestone

This pair of pillars for gates is an artisanal realisation. Carved from local stone, the stone of Estaillades, they are impressive by their size: more than 3 metres high and 1 metre wide !

The barrel of each pillar is beautifully hand carved on all 4 sides. The finely moulded capitals are massive : broad and flat on top, ideal to place, for example, a vase, a sculpture, or any other decorative object on top.

Majestic pair of pillars worthy of a castle entrance !
